Short notice

I have had a lot of calls from people wanting there lawns or gardens done straight away. 2 people rang on friday late morning wanting me to come out that arvo to do gardens before the weekend. i also had a guy ring me on sunday wanting me to come out first thing monday morning before his rent inspection and again today a lgirl wanted me to come out in the next hour or so to do her lawns all these are ring ins and not regulars, people must think that we sit by the phone waiting for work .
WHAT DO OTHER GUYS DO, and what is your time frame from call to job

When I talk to them in person or over the phone I tell them that we are booked but we may be able to move a job around to fit them in over the next few days (if they are going to be regulars) - most will wait.

Rent inspection calls I tell them to tell the real estate that we will be doing the job but it wont be untill next week or when ever, most real estates will except this and will do a drive by to see if the job has been done.
I charge extra for one off rent inspections.

If things dont go your way then just walk way but if you can talk the talk then you will get them.
