I brought this software mid last year and have only just set it up over last week - it looks good but what a pain in the ass as I'm going to have to ring them cause I cant get it to run properly. I'm not using it now as I'm not going to spend any more time on it. I'm going to using my tablet then I will be able to send invoices at end of the job and it will be in their email inbox as I drive away. I'm using Mobile Biz Pro mobilebiz.imsunny.comIt wasn't hard to set up and have already sent out invoices, so far I give it the big thumbs up and at a price that anyone can afford. I will still book my jobs by hand in the diary for now. I was going to use the phone but its a bit small and that's why I'm using the tablet and there is no need to use a usb internet dong as my phone plan gives me 4gig of internet so I just tether my phone and have my own wifi-hotspot. I don't know why people pay for their internet just to make their laptop portable when they can do what I do ...... use what your already paying for. Why work harder when you can work smarter.

Sounds like KIE is now turning into a cash cow
This is from the new owner Aaron that he posted on another forum that im on. ------------------------------------------------
Hi guys, ok just to clarify a few things.
1. Cloud style data (although we don't cloud it its a virtual private server, similar to what banks use.) has less chance of allowing stealing your data than your house getting broken into and your computer getting stolen. So rest assured its safer than your own set up.
2. The cost for virtual host client will be between $40 and $50.00 per mth. (remember all your data is backed up daily and stored safely)
3. Yes the cost is more than the download currently however BE aware that the down load will get a lot more expensive in the future to allow us to spend money on updates that are needed.
4. The new cost (when it comes out for the current download version ) WONT affect any already registered (purchased) users like most of you all. You will still get ALL the relevant updates and the software will be both the same for online and download this will remain free to you.
5. it is really aimed at new purchasers to allow us the working capital to expand the current version to make it the best it can be. Down time on hosted sites in less than 1%, if a server dies it take about 1 hr to have another online and restored to what it was. Bear in mind these data server centres are approx. 1-2 million dollars to set up so its the best equipment possible.
I hope this answers a few of your questions.
Aaron.

Wow KIE (keep it easy) wants to charge you for service help - im glad that I don't use it but still keep it on the pc. Don't get me wrong its good and dose what it says it dose but I just find it to much mucking about as its a lot to get your head around. There is no way I would pay the price they are now asking for it as I got mine when they had a sale for $99, I don't think that its going to be long before they start charging you for updates. I'm all about keeping everything simple as the last thing we want to do is spend hours doing invoices or working on the pc, so far I have came across 2 invoice software that I really like and have tried a few over the last few years. Please note that this is just my point of view and im not on their payroll. How are you doing your invoices?? Mobile Biz ProI was using a crack copy of Mobile Biz Pro on my phone and tablet and gave it a big thumbs up - I have since paid for it. As I had a cracked copy I couldn't get the update, now that I can get the updates -they have added so much and there is more to come. These guys are listening to the likes of you and I on how they can improve their software, its easy to use with a low one of price of $24.13 Even a newbe can afford this so they can look even more like a pro. To buy the software click here Mobile Biz proMobile Biz pro website - mobilebizbillcue e-invoicing I started using this software at the start of this financial years as there was a few things that caught my eye. To much to list on here so go to their website to see for yourself. It cost $11 per month, I am going to use it for this financial year and so far im happy with how its working out.
