I forgot I had joined this forum lol
Now we have a problem, our honda mower engine lost power. we put a new spark plug and fresh fuel but still the same problem.
We may have to take it to the shop but im hoping some maybe able to give us a answer.
we hope that it isnt a big problem and need to buy another mower.
Please help me if you can.

Have you replace the air filter, a dirty air filter can make your mower play up

either that or Im just plain inept.... Let me know if you are still having issues and I will help you with a bit of a trouble shooting guide. I'll get to posting it up again at some point and hopefully I'll actually 'post' it as opposed to what ever I did before...

Update we took it it to the shop and they put new air filter, striped carb, new plug and changed oil. At the end they said it had a blocked jet. We got charged for 3hours and parts. Dose this sound fair to you guys or have we been ripped off.

3 hours is a bit hefty for it, but not too surprising. Depends how much mucking about they did with the carb really. If you're worried or not happy with them, shop around. You'll soon learn if you're getting stung and who the good shops are.

ring another shop and say you think that your carb has a blocked jet and how much would it cost to fix or buy a new one
