A Russian mother has been caught on film walking through the lobby of an apartment building moments after she allegedly threw her two children to their deaths.
Galina Ryabkova, 30, was been arrested after allegedly murdering her two sons, aged four and seven, in Moscow on June 24 while her husband was on a business trip, Russia Today reports.
She is alleged to have thrown the two boys from the 15th floor of the building.
CCTV footage from the building's security cameras showed the mother's emotionless face as she walked through the lobby moments after the incident is alleged to have occurred.
She was approached by a shirtless man and then other residents of the building who restrained her until police arrived and arrested her.
Paramedics were also called but the children died at the scene.
Ryabkova reportedly said that she was "fed up" with the boys and wanted to "get rid of them".
Neighbours were alerted when they heard the children's bodies hit the ground.
A man who chose to remain anonymous told Life News his wife woke him up telling him that children were falling from the building.
He said he left the complex with his wife and they saw the two boys' bodies near the entrance to the building.
"Just at that time their mother was leaving the building. We asked her if these were her children and she replied, emotionlessly, 'yes, I threw them away'," the man said.
Ryabkova has reportedly attempted suicide in the past and her husband may have been having an affair when their children died.
