Came across this little brown the other day, it wanted to dance with the whipper snipper so we did the tango. I do see a few big ones from time to time but they take off so we don't get to close to each other. I know one contractor that wont go into long grass because of snakes even know they will take off once you start using machinery. Attachments:

At least you're not scared of them mate, poor bastards get a bad rap as far as I'm concerned, and I can back myself in that statement as I was bitten by King Brown just north of Rockhampton when I was in the army. My fault, I near trod on him when he was having a morning snooze in the sun. I stopped breathing a couple of times, earned myself a trip in a blackhawk and a while in intensive care. I only got bitten because I was creeping around, if I had stomped or even walked normally he would've been gone long before I got near him.
