Sylvester Stallone's 36-year-old son has been found dead in his Hollywood home.
Police confirmed Sage Moonblood Stallone was found dead alone in his apartment in the afternoon (US time) on July 13, the New York Post reports.
"There is no suspicion of foul play or criminal activity," a representative for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said
Sources said the 36-year-old had overdosed on pills but authorities are still working to determine the cause of death, TMZ reports.
The LAPD said officers went to check on Sage Stallone after somebody tried to get in touch with the actor but couldn't.
Sage Stallone's lawyer George Braunstein told The Post the 36-year-old had been planning on getting married and the news was a tragedy.
"He was in good spirits and working on all kinds of projects — he was planning on getting married," Braunstein said.
Braunstein said Sage Stallone's mother Sasha Czack had been informed about the devastating news, but he did not know if his father knew yet.
Sage Stallone made his acting debut alongside his famous father in the 1990 movie Rocky V, playing the role of Rocky's son.
He went on the act in several well-known films including the 1996 film Daylight, which also starred his father.
